Swords Tennis Club

Swords Lawn Tennis Club was established 39 years ago. The club is perfect for every type of player,  beginners, the more competitive players and also those looking for some social tennis. Located in the picturesque grounds of Swords Castle, Swords Lawn Tennis Club is a small but friendly club with six enclosed tiger turf  floodlight tennis courts.

Swords competes in the Dublin Lawn Tennis Council leagues in both the ladies and gents sections, as well as in mixed and at senior level also. We also compete in the Fingal League, which is aimed at the tennis beginner and non league player. 

We are always eager to welcome new members of any age. Membership runs from July 1st to June 30th and application can be made through any committee member or dropped into the office. Committee approval will be required before membership confirmation. Swords Lawn Tennis Club has men’s, ladies and junior nights all year round and mixed nights in the summer, as well as coaching, regular tournaments, club championships and social events. 

Court hire is available to non members at €5 per person per hour, to book contact the office anytime after 10am for availability. Special rates for families.

Junior matchplay is most Saturdays during the summer months between 2 & 5 pm.
