Winter League Finals

We are delighted that we have 2 teams playing in the Winter League Finals this Sunday 28th May @ Catholic Institute Tennis Club.

10.00am Grade 5 Men V Crosshaven 

Jack O'Loughlin, Oliver Moloney, Gerry Quinn & Emmet Gleeson

2.00pm Grade 2 Men V Mitchelstown

Philip O'Reilly, Justin O'Connor, Nick Lester & Paul McDonagh

We are so proud of both teams who have put in major work in travelling to games, practicing and competing in this tournament. We really would appreciate as much support as we can get for both teams this Sunday. We hope as many members as possible will come out to Catholic Institute to cheer them on.

Adult Coaching

A new four week course, aimed at Beginners and Improvers is available to book on the website.  There are 8 places available at a cost of €36. It’s on Thursdays from 6.15pm to 7.15pm.  It’s not four consecutive Thursdays due to holidays and the SOI.  The dates are June 8  & 29, July 6 & 13. Lena O Connor will coach the group.

Court Maintenance

The annual court maintenance will take place next week.  Courtcare will work on 3 courts at a time, so members can work around them.  They indicated it would be Monday, but haven’t confirmed as of close of business today (2.30 for me!!).
